Port Maw!

The Coastal Bend Heretics acquitted themselves well at this year's Port Maw: The Donovan Apostasy. There were some fantastic armies present and the narrative element was frankly the best part. Also got to see some old friends who came down to San Antonio from Oklahoma (we came up from Corpus Christi). The venue was great and I recommend they hold it in the same place next year.

On our table we lost by one victory point (something like 287 to 288 or similar) so we are happy to call it a draw that we came out slight behind. Overall the Imperium held and the forces of Disorder have been contained following the fall of Port Maw. Next year we shall crusade to retake it!

I cannot say enough about what a great job Dan Norris did putting it together and it has inspired us to consider doing a large narrative event of our own down here this summer. Still in the "good idea" stage for now but stay tuned.
